The Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) proudly invites industry members to apply for this year’s challenge which will kick off in mid-October and will culminate at the 2024 Viva Fresh Expo in Houston on April 13th.

The Texas International Produce Association has once again teamed up with the North Texas Food Bank of Plano, TX to help close the hunger gap. At the conclusion of the Viva Fresh Expo earlier this month, a total of 21,806 lbs of fresh produce was donated.

GRAPEVINE, TX—I’m a bit of a homer here with Viva Fresh, as I’ve been involved with the show since its inception. This year’s event boasted record attendance and huge enthusiasm from both organizers and attendees.

TIPA plans to host Viva Fresh 2024 and 2025 in Houston before returning to the J.W. Marriott in San Antonio in 2026.

Pamela misses out on playing in Viva Fresh golf in Grapevine, TX, so instead visits some local retailers and reports HEB does things differently in Dallas than Austin. She and Greg also discuss the sad news that Chick-fil-A becomes the latest QSR to drop side salads, and what that means for the salads at foodservice.

The Texas International Produce Association’s 7th annual event was packed from the first of two sold-out golf tournaments on April 21 through to the very end of trade show break-down on April 23.  

Pamela appears from Dallas, just after the golf tournament at the annual Viva Fresh event, which she says will be as big as ever. Meanwhile Greg has already returned to the office after attending the PBH Consumer Connection Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Both events have a focus on ways to improve produce consumption and healthier eating.

The Third Annual Viva Fresh Clean Eating Challenge is finally here and ready to change more lives.
