REVIEW: Little Leaf Farms salad kits

produce with pamela

We have another contender in the salad kit games in my kitchen. Little Leaf Farms, based in Massachusetts, reached out to me with their Crispy Caesar and Southwest Salad Kits.

I haven’t had the chance to try Little Leaf’s products, as they’re not available in my area, but I hear they’re popular. In September, the company announced it is the best-selling packaged lettuce in New England.

Like I do, I received the package, unloaded the kits to my garage fridge and promptly forgot about them for about a week — and then I panicked. Did I wait too long to do a video? Had the kits gone past their prime out there?

I’m pleased to report that not only had they not gone bad yet, I still had another twelve days before the “Best By” date, and the lettuce was crisp and delightful.

Score another one for salad kits in my books.
