Shishito Pepper Trendsetter and Vegetable Enthusiast Brings The Heat to Monterey

IMMOKALEE, FL – JULY 24, 2023 – Ark Foods, BB #:290462 a modern-day farming company on a mission to rejuvenate the agriculture industry in America by showcasing the magic of vegetables, is bringing the heat to this year’s International Fresh Produce Association’s Foodservice Conference in Monterey, CA.

Ark Foods, an East Coast grower, was founded ten years ago on the belief that everyone should have access to fresh, healthy vegetables. During IFPA’s Foodservice Conference, they will be sharing their wide range of specialty veggies, available for wholesale purchase, spotlighting their Shishito Peppers, Long Hots, Cubanelles, Red Fresnos, Jalapeños and Poblanos, as well as their Mini Heirloom Tomato medley.

In addition to their peppers and tomatoes, Ark Foods suggests that chefs consider their personal-sized Honeynut Squash as they begin to plan their fall menus. It boasts a notably sweeter flavor than a Butternut Squash and contains high amounts of beta-carotene, a natural antioxidant. Honeynut is ideal for roasting with a drizzle of savory salted honey or maple syrup. Cooked whole, the skin of a Honeynut is edible, delivering a kitchen-friendly, waste-reducing solution for fall menus.
