The boys are all about watching YouTubers do crazy, but wholesome, things.
My 11-year-old’s favorite right now is a guy called MrBeast who does amazing things like buy everything (EVERY SINGLE THING) in a Save-A-Lot store to donate to local food banks and homeless shelters.
And, if you’re curious, buying every single item in stock at a Save-A-Lot store will cost you about $70,000. The guys on the channel also strand themselves on a deserted island, and buy Playstations and give them away to people from the back of a truck.
I had a couple of bags of the new Cabo Diablo Hot Pepper Medley and Cherry Bomb peppers that Jacobs Farm/Del Cabo BB #:158898 sent me, so I wondered what I could do to explore the different flavor profiles. I decided the fastest, easiest, and most entertaining way would be to have my kids try them.
We happened to have just been to the store to make milkshakes, and had some whipped cream to try to cool the heat down, as Ike heard that dairy is supposed to make your tongue feel better when you’ve ingested hot peppers. I think unfettered access to whipped cream was a big factor in Uli’s willingness to try the peppers.
How’d they do?
