Mission, Texas March 22, 2024 – The 2024 Viva Fresh Expo is less than a month away and the team at the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) BB #:162361 is particularly thrilled about three highly engaging opportunities for attendees to experience the best of Houston while networking with their industry peers.

With a lineup of special events tailored to provide exciting opportunities for education and team building, the Viva Fresh experience aims to go above and beyond the typical trade show expectations.

For those with a taste for adventure and suds, the Let’s Brew Tour, sponsored by SunFed and Premier Produce, offers exploration of two leading breweries contributing to Houston’s burgeoning craft beer scene. Taking place on Thursday, April 11th from noon to 4 p.m., the tour will explore Saint Arnold Brewing Company and Karbach Brewing.

Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of world class brews while immersing themselves in Space City’s vibrant atmosphere. Tickets for this event are $200 per registration.

One of the standout events at this year’s expo is the Astros Reception at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros! Hosted by Viva Fresh organizers TIPA and FullTilt Marketing, this exclusive networking reception offers attendees a chance to explore the park after hours, located just minutes away from the Marriott Marquis where the Viva Fresh Expo is held.

Taking place on Thursday, April 11th from 7 to 9 p.m., this ticketed event is open to registered attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for this event is $200 and includes food, fun, and behind-the-scenes experiences for both baseball and produce enthusiasts alike.

“We’re excited to offer experiences that not only bring Viva Fresh attendees together, but also offer a genuine taste of Houston’s vibrant culture. Our aim is to provide a memorable and enriching experience where participants can broaden their industry horizons while creating lasting impressions of our lively host city,” said Dante Galeazzi, CEO and president of TIPA.

On Friday, the Viva Fresh Expo invites you to the In Bloom Women in Produce Reception, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This exciting event offers an empowering experience for its attendees. This unique gathering blends a little bit of networking with a lot of team spirit, all while enjoying produce-inspired cocktails.

Tickets for the In Bloom Reception are $100 per registration, making it a perfect opportunity for attendees to connect with like-minded women, foster collaboration, and build meaningful relationships in a dynamic environment.

This event embodies the spirit of camaraderie and empowerment that drives our vision. We are thrilled to provide a platform where women can connect, collaborate, and flourish together, fostering a community of growth and excellence within the produce industry,” said Michelle Cortez, In Bloom Chairwoman. “And of course, we’d like to thank our title sponsor, Pure Flavor, and all our other sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible.”
