In her role as CFO, Laura will provide financial stewardship of company assets while aligning business and finance strategy to support continued business growth including leadership across internal and external financial accounting & reporting, FP&A, treasury, M&A, and investor relations.
Laura brings a wealth of experience to the organization, including founding the MUUV GRUUP, where she launched and self-funded multiple startups to make active living fun across all generations. Muuv has a global presence with notable companies such as Muuv Bikes, a top ranked festival eBike rental platform.
She received her MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth and has a superior track record of delivering results and creating value. Laura spent nine years as the CFO of Halpern’s Steak & Seafood which was sold to Gordon Foodservice in 2015, where she partnered with leading industry executives to execute a strategic plan that resulted in over $375 million dollars of growth in just eight years.
She is a proud mother of four who loves to be outside. Laura enjoys competing in ultra-marathons and multi-sport endurance events and was a finisher of the Triple7Quest, 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. She also acts as a mentor, advisor, and volunteer in her community.
