Herndon Country Farms – Sinise Final Banner

LG Herndon Jr Farms is excited to announce their partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation for the 2022 Vidalia Onion season.

This partnership will have 2 periods during the Vidalia Onion Season where the onions will be shipping with special co-branded packaging that highlights the work of the Foundation, the Memorial Day Promotion (May 16th – May 30th) and the July 4th Promotion (June 20th – July 4th).

John Williams, Director of Sales and Marketing, explains his thoughts behind the partnership, “We had been wanting to do something with veterans and the US military for a while and when we started talking to the folks at the Gary Sinise Foundation, we knew this was the perfect fit for us. The work they are doing for our Veterans and first responders is incredible, and we are excited to work with such a remarkable organization.”

All consumer bags will be shipped in special co-branded packaging that highlights The Gary Sinise Foundation. The bags will feature a unique QR code that will drive shoppers to a dedicated site in partnership with the Foundation, where they can learn more about the many programs that are offered. Consumers will also have an opportunity through the site to make their own special donation to the Foundation.

Herndon Farms will donate 5% of the gross sales, up to $25,000 during the campaign, to the Gary Sinise Foundation for the benefit of the Foundation’s area of greatest need.
