Consumer concern for immune health is on the rise and, with the pandemic converging with peak cold and flu season, this month the Mushroom Council has launched the “Feed Your Immune System” education and promotion initiative.

Make even more room for ‘shrooms in your kitchens. As 2021 approaches, there are multiple signs mushrooms will be one of the top trending foods for the year ahead.

With consumer demand for mushrooms high at grocery stores throughout the year, the Mushroom Council will encourage consumers to celebrate mushrooms every day of September, the 30th anniversary of National Mushroom Month, by enjoying a #MushroomADay.
