DoorDash announced a partnership with Southeastern Grocers Inc. (SEG), parent company of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie stores, to offer on-demand grocery delivery from more than 400 stores throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Southeastern Grocers Inc. (SEG), parent company and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, is hosting a local supplier sourcing event to collaborate with local businesses, and in turn, provide stores with an expanded variety of local products.

Southeastern Grocers, Inc. (“Southeastern Grocers” or the “Company”) today announced that it has postponed its previously announced initial public offering.

The 62 stores will be converted to Food Lion stores, as part of the brand's continued expansion in the southeast of the U.S., and Food Lion expects to hire more than 4,650 associates to serve customers at the stores.

These four store openings are the first of eight new Winn-Dixie stores scheduled to open throughout Florida. Winn-Dixie’s continued expansion will include additional locations in Fort Myers, Lake Mary and Melbourne later this year and Viera in early 2021.

In advance of the store’s grand opening, Fresco y Más will distribute 25,000 pounds of fresh produce and shelf-stable food to the local community during a drive-through mobile food pantry event in partnership with Lehigh Community Services.

This process will help enable the Company to make the decision to become publicly traded, subject to market and other conditions.
