A fifth lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Florida resident, Sherie Jenkins, against ProSource Produce, LLC.

The FDA, along with CDC, and state and local partners, investigated a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Oranienburg infections linked to whole, fresh onions imported from the State of Chihuahua, Mexico, in cooperation with the Mexican competent authorities.

The lawsuit was filed in Tarrant County, Texas on behalf of Lisa Rodriguez and Jose Gonzales who purchased, prepared, and consumed food containing the contaminated onions.
