Oxnard, Calif. (July 5, 2024) – Westfalia Fruit BB #:300553 — recognized as the global avocado expert — is excited to announce the debut of its premium, 100-percent pure avocado oils in the United States, now available in three flavors, including Plain, Garlic, and Lemon.

Made from fresh avocados grown and carefully picked in South Africa, Westfalia Fruit avocado oils represent the pinnacle of quality, versatility and reliability.

“We’re called the Avo Experts for a reason,” added Zac Bard, business development executive at Westfalia Fruit. “It has everything to do with our years of experience, dedication to quality and innovation, and incredible research and development investments. From this, we are also avocado oil connoisseurs and have been making avo oils for over 20 years with input from edible oil specialists.”

According to recent studies, the avocado oil market is projected to see steady growth, driven by health consciousness, skin care trends, and sustainability. Avocado oil has high levels of monosaturated fats and contains beneficial antioxidants, providing health benefits for the heart, vision, brain functions, and skin health. In addition, Westfalia Fruit avocado oils boast a high smoke point of 500 degrees Fahrenheit, making them ideal for high-heat cooking, grilling and baking.

“Quality and authenticity are crucial,” said Raina Nelson, president and CEO of Westfalia Fruit North America. “We are thrilled to introduce the first avocado oil with a purpose—to do good. Our dedication to actionable sustainability spans decades. We use the flesh of the avocados and return the seeds and skins to the orchards for soil conditioning and mulch. Our entire process, from beginning to end, supports zero waste and carbon footprint reduction initiatives.”

Westfalia Fruit uses a unique process that extracts oil from the flesh. “This specialized methodology ensures a pure flavor profile by using only the pulp,” Zac added, “It makes for a clean and premium product, and how we create it is unique to Westfalia. Avocado is a fruit, so it makes sense that it should be handled a bit differently, and we test every batch for quality and purity.”

The versatile product line includes Plain, Garlic, and Lemon flavors available in 250ml recyclable glass bottles, and Plain is also available in 500ml. Westfalia Fruit is the first fresh produce and avocado oil brand to partner with CIRT (Can I Recycle This?) to empower consumers with the recyclability of its packaging by zip code—convenient QR codes are on every bottle. Westfalia Fruit avocado oils will be available at select retailers and online soon.

Pro Tip: Refined avocado oil is light yellow in color, almost clear, and has a shelf-life of up to two years. Store avocado oil away from light and heat, in a cupboard or pantry.

Westfalia Fruit offers an impressive lineup of products, including a year-round supply of fresh avocados, guacamole, avocado pulp, IQF avocado, and a range of seasonal subtropical, exotic, and deciduous fruits, berries, cherries, and citrus. For more information, visit westfaliafruit.com.
