Pro*Act names chief financial officer

MONTEREY, CA – PRO*ACT BB #:141746, the leading distributor of fresh produce to the foodservice industry, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kevin Vogt as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Kevin brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in financial management and executive leadership. Prior to joining PRO*ACT, Kevin served as the Managing Director at the Swanson Family of Companies, where he oversaw the Family Office and played a key role in succession and estate planning for the family. He also supported multiple acquisitions to expand the family’s portfolio of companies.

Before his time with the Swanson Family, Kevin spent seventeen years at Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc., where he held various leadership positions including Vice President/General Manager of Cheese and Vice President/General Manager of Hilmar Ingredients. He eventually served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at the company.

Vogt’s impressive career also includes a twelve-year stint as Chief Financial Officer at Emanuel Medical Center. He holds a degree in Business/Economics from Westmont College and a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University Stanislaus.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Kevin is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the Board of New Hope Uganda Ministries and the EMC Health Foundation. He and his wife, Emily, are proud parents to an adult daughter, son, and daughter-in-law.
