SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA – The Fresh Produce & Floral Council BB #:162392 is proud to announce the appointment of Bob Lanter as its new President. With a rich background in the public sector and non-profit management, Bob brings over 30 years of experience to his new role.

Prior to joining FPFC, Bob Lanter served as the Executive Director of the California Workforce Association, where he led the workforce strategy and implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act for the state of California. His extensive experience includes holding various positions in local workforce investment systems, including Executive Director of the Contra Costa County Workforce Board.

During his tenure at the California Workforce Association, Bob significantly increased organizational revenue and membership, led the development of key legislation, and managed large-scale projects and grants. He is known for his expertise in designing and coordinating events and networking opportunities, spearheading some of the most successful events across the country in workforce development.

Expressing his excitement about joining FPFC, Bob Lanter stated, “I am thrilled to be part of the FPFC team and eager to delve into the world of the fresh produce and floral industry. I look forward to learning more about FPFC, its members, and contributing to the growth and success of the industry.”

Bob Lanter officially assumes his role as President of FPFC, effective May 5th, 2024 and will be present at the upcoming FPFC Expo on May 1st to meet FPFC members.

The mission of the Fresh Produce & Floral Council is to connect members to the information, education, and professional network they need to increase knowledge, grow their businesses, and collectively advance the industry.
