Trucco, Medrano partner to support childhood cancer research

produce for life 7

In recognition of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Trucco BB #:103951 announced its Produce for Life 7 initiative, created in collaboration with Medrano Produce BB #:191775.

The campaign was launched out of support for the son of a long-time Trucco employee diagnosed with leukemia in 2019. He was just eight years old. Today, he is in remission, thanks to the collective efforts of doctors, researchers, and caregivers.

This year, Trucco has chosen to collaborate with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a beacon in the battle against childhood cancer. Their relentless commitment to funding groundbreaking research is more than a mission; it’s a promise to every child and family affected by cancer.

By purchasing kiwis or limes marked with a golden ribbon, you join a powerful movement paving the way toward a cure.

Look for the golden ribbon! Help us turn limes into something extraordinary – hope for children nationwide.

In recognition of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Trucco and Medrano Produce will donate a portion of the sales to Alex’s Lemonade Foundation for every clamshell of kiwis and or limes a customer buys, marked with a golden ribbon. Trucco encourages produce industry members to support the teams who do so much for children and families needing care and a cure.
