THE PRODUCE MOMS Makes Fourth Appearance at the Festival Co-Founded by Kroger and Singer-Songwriter Jewel
Lori Taylor, Founder and CEO of The Produce Moms BB #:366223 will once again appear at The Wellness Experience By Kroger BB #:100073 in Cincinnati, Friday, August 20, 2021, this time as a featured guest emcee on the Main Stage for the Veggie Eating Contest where contestants will compete to see who can consume the most produce in 10 minutes.
This will be the fourth time, at the request of Kroger, that Lori has represented the produce industry at the popular festival co-founded by KROGER and singer Jewel. Lori will be joined on the main stage by Kroger’s Vice President of Produce/Floral, Miguel Garcia who will be kicking off the produce eating contest.
According to THE WELLNESS EXPERIENCE website which can be found here, the event, which happens over two days offers “ultimate health, nutrition, fitness and musical festival experience, designed to kickstart your healthy lifestyle.”
The festival offers attendees the opportunity to “work out with celebrity fitness trainers, see inspiring speakers, pick up cooking tips, practice mindfulness techniques and learn from passionate health professionals about what wellness means for you.”
In October 2018, Lori was asked to participate in the first Kroger Wellness Experience in Cincinnati which was then called Wellness Your Way. At Kroger’s inaugural wellness festival, Lori was on hand to meet and greet festival attendees as a Kroger Health Brand Ambassador and appeared on the main stage to discuss fresh produce with wellness icons Tony Horton, Joy Bauer, and Mark Sisson.
She returned again in 2019 at The Wellness Your Way Festivals in Denver and Cincinnati where she appeared on the popular Food as Medicine Stage and as a panelist for the Dietitians Pick Presentation. There, Lori educated the audience about how fresh fruits and vegetables are grown and the best ways to enjoy them.

THE WELLNESS EXPERIENCE BY KROGER happens in Downtown Cincinnati Friday, August 20th through Saturday, August 21st, 10a.m. to 7p.m.. According to the website, “entry to the festival grounds and festival programming is free to attend all weekend with a food item donation. In order to sample products, you must have a sampling wristband. To receive your sampling wristband for free, please bring a Kroger, Simple Truth or Private Selection non-perishable item to donate to Freestore Foodbank. If you choose not to bring a donation, you will be charged $5.00 for a sampling wristband on site.”
