STROUDSBURG, PA – As of February 19th, Driscoll Foods, BB #:166203 an independent broadline distributor servicing the tri-state area, purchased the assets of a Pennsylvania based distributor.
As part of the asset purchase, Driscoll Foods now owns a third distribution center located in Stroudsburg, PA.
“We are very excited for the opportunities this third distribution center will open up to us and our customers,” said Tim Driscoll, CEO and owner. “The Eastern Pennsylvania region holds a diverse customer base and the location will complement our current distribution zone while also putting us in a strong position to further expand our reach.”
Driscoll Foods plans to continue investing in expansion and future growth. The new 507,000 square foot headquarters in Wayne, N.J. stocks 12,000+ unique products, and is equipped with a USDA approved meat processing facility and a pre-plated meal manufacturing center. The company also plans to install an accompanying seafood processing facility in the near future. All of these products and services (plus more) are now available to the customers serviced by the Eastern Pennsylvania distribution center.
