The E. coli outbreak that the CFIA tied to Fresh Express Sunflower Crisp Chopped Salad Kits also affects the U.S. But it's not the same outbreak as earlier ones this fall.

The outbreak appears to be ongoing, as recent illnesses continue to be reported. Based on the investigation findings to date, exposure to Fresh Express brand Sunflower Crisp Chopped Salad Kits has been identified as a likely source of the outbreak.
