Food Lion Feeds’ fourth annual Summers Without Hunger campaign aims to address food insecurity by helping to provide 16 million meals* this summer.

With a capital investment exceeding $50 million, Food Lion is unveiling remodeled stores in Wilmington, NC, that feature a new, easier shopping experience for customers.

With more shoppers opting to save time by ordering groceries online, Food Lion is excited to announce the expansion of its Food Lion To Go grocery pick up service to 27 more stores in Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia beginning Oct. 31. Food Lion is offering shoppers their first pickup for free.

With the addition of these 24 stores, Food Lion To Go is now available at more than 600 stores across its 10-state footprint.

Every specially marked apple bag purchased through Oct. 4 generates a five-meal donation to Feeding America.

With more shoppers opting to save time by ordering groceries online, Food Lion is excited to announce the expansion of its Food Lion To Go grocery pick up service to 15 more stores in the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee, beginning Aug. 29.

In partnership with customers, Food Lion Feeds is providing 1.6 million meals to feed food-insecure neighbors as a result of its annual Orange Bag campaign.

The total amount donated to each local food bank will be based on the number of eligible bagged oranges sold in each food bank’s service area, along with customer donations at the register.
