In its 9th year of independent ownership, The Produce Moms BB #:366223 continues to spearhead a mission to put more fruits and vegetables on every table. Helping lead the charge to better educate the consumer, The Produce Moms introduces Jaclyn London, MS, RD, CDN, to our ever-growing community. Only a small percentage of children in the United States meet the recommended intake of fruits and vegetables. This indicates a significant gap between current consumption patterns and dietary recommendations.

Jackie’s role at TPM is set to satisfy a mix of expertise and engagement. Additionally, Jackie will provide expert Nutrition Consulting and tailor messages for TPM Brand Partners.

Jackie is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist with extensive experience as an author, brand consultant, and media spokesperson dedicated to improving access to health and wellness for all. Jackie held leadership roles at consumer brands including WeightWatchers and Good Housekeeping, and pioneered the launch of the Good Housekeeping Nutritionist Approved Emblem and incubator program. She has appeared as a nutrition and wellness expert on national TV shows such as TODAY, Good Morning America, The Rachael Ray Show, the Dr. Oz show, Inside Edition and CBSN.

Jackie expresses her excitement around joining the team:

“I’m thrilled to join Lori and her team on their mission to make eating produce more accessible, delicious, and fun for families. As a longtime fan & friend of The Produce Moms, I know that the brand’s work is invaluable. I look forward to sharing my nutrition knowledge with the TPM community. The Produce Moms brand and platform is uniquely positioned to get more veggies & fruit into the dietary pattern of more Americans.”

Jackie’s goal in partnering with The Produce Moms is to guide the industry and consumers in ways that make nutritious produce a seamless & stress-free part of all eating occasions. Healthy choices can be truly enjoyable.

Jackie explains:

“Veggies & fruit are the most important, foundational component of any health-promoting dietary pattern around the globe. And yet, when it comes to shopping for, purchasing, preparing, cooking, and eating produce, there are many barriers that often stand in the way of us getting what we need.”

Tune in monthly as Jackie takes the mic on both The Produce Moms Podcast, alongside Lori Taylor, and The Business of Wellness Podcast. Plus, she’ll be a part of vibrant conversations and interactions on social media, newsletters, and within The Produce Moms community, covering exciting topics like Nutrition Myth-Busting, understanding Food Labels, the benefits of Functional Foods, and much more.

Lori, founder of TPM, emphasizes the importance of enhancing aspects of the community:

“Adding Jackie to the team as our Chief Nutrition Officer provides The Produce Moms with enhanced credibility
and accuracy”. Jackie’s background and education, offers up nutrition research, consulting, and messaging to TPM brand partner network. With Jackie’s leadership, TPM looks forward to enhancing nutrition content and audience reach, as well as health and wellness trend spotting within the food industry. According to the CDC, just 10% of Americans are meeting the recommended amount of veggies & fruit per day. Helping kids choose to produce more often starts with parents choosing produce more often.

Jackie explains:

“The more you incorporate produce into your everyday eating patterns, the easier it becomes for kids to get on board knowing how tasty & satisfying it can be to eat them! Plus, the more kids feel involved in the process of selecting, preparing & eating more produce-based meals, the more likely they are to continue to eat these foods consistently.”
