NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Blue Apron, BB #:292398 the pioneer of the meal kit industry in the U.S., expands its ready-to-eat category with the launch of Prepared & Ready meals, available to order now for weekly shipment starting January 8, 2024. Customers can enjoy increased flexibility, from meal kits to single-serving prepared meals, for ultimate convenience and variety. The Prepared & Ready menu will continue to expand in 2024.

Prepared & Ready chef-crafted meals are delivered fresh and ready to reheat in a microwave within minutes. Each meal is nutritionist-approved, pre-made and non-frozen, and brings quality ingredients with decadent flavors to mealtime without the prep. At launch, customers can choose from over 16 Prepared & Ready options with additional brand-new recipes and meal categories to be released throughout the year.

Blue Apron’s Prepared & Ready meals let customers jumpstart their wellness goals for the New Year, with a variety of well-balanced options to choose from each week, like Carb Conscious, 30g or more of Protein and 600 Calories or Less. The recipes feature signature Blue Apron sauces, seasonal produce, vegetarian options and meats prepared sous vide, a French technique that locks in flavor and freshness for a tender and juicy result.

Prepared & Ready meals include staple Blue Apron pantry ingredients and a variety of brand-new items, like southwestern-style turkey carnitas, riced cauliflower and broccoli, and quinoa. Menu options include:

  • Southwestern-Style Turkey with Brown Rice & Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Buffalo-Style Chicken with Mashed Potatoes & Vegetables
  • Chicken & Quinoa Grain Bowl with Feta & Vegetables
  • Italian-Style Grilled Chicken with Sweet Potatoes, Pesto & Almonds
  • Korean-Style Kimchi Rice with Scrambled Eggs & Veggies

Blue Apron’s Prepared & Ready meals will be available to order now as part of a subscription through the website and mobile app, or without a subscription starting on January 8, 2024 through Blue Apron’s Market. Prepared & Ready will also be available to purchase at Wonder stores in New York and New Jersey at the end of January.
