Two Pacific Northwest produce companies have combined their groups.
Caruso Produce, Inc., BB #:100737, Portland, OR, acquired the assets of Washington Produce BB #:118563, Seattle, WA. Washington Produce will now be rolled into Caruso’s Seattle branch BB #:293424 located in Tukwila, WA.
Greg Hanson, CFO of Caruso Produce, said both companies specialize in supplying fresh produce to restaurants, and this will broaden the reach of the company.
In a letter to customers this week, Caruso Produce said Washington Produce will continue to operate under the Washington name, and invoices will still contain that wording.
After the deal, Washington employees such as Dean Brask, president; and salesmen Tom Kaelin and Mark Brunnell join Caruso’s Ryan Kaskie, general manager, and salesman Johnny Grossi.
