On July 11, 2014, a default judgment was entered against Castro Produce, LLC., in civil case number 13-00719-TUC-RCC, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. The judgment was for $998,936.36 for damages incurred plus interest at a rate of 0.11% per annum from June 1, 2011 until paid and $39,605.97 for attorney’s fees and costs with interest at a rate of 0.11% per annum from May 8, 2013 until paid. In addition, $573.50 for costs incurred in obtaining the judgment.
