Taylor Fresh Foods Inc. BB #:154001 is ahead of schedule on demolition and rebuilding the Salinas, CA, foodservice processing facility that suffered a fire in April.
In a video released this week, Taylor Fresh Foods showed how it successfully completed its post-fire contingency plan. It shifted volume from the damaged building to two others in Salinas and other facilities in California and Arizona and never stopped delivering product to customers.

The April fire at the Abbott Street foodservice production plant occurred during its offseason, so it was closed for the winter, and all employees were safely evacuated.
A few days after the fire, Bruce Taylor, chairman and CEO of Taylor Fresh Foods told local news that the fire caused a near total loss, and engineers were working on plans to rebuild.
“We believe by this time next year we’ll have a new plant up and running,” he said in mid-April.
