 Gotham Greens, one of the fastest growing indoor farming brands, today announced the official opening of its second high-tech hydroponic greenhouse in the Mountain Region and the company’s eleventh greenhouse nationwide.

At the same time the company is facing eviction from its Berea, KY, greenhouse and shaking up its executive leadership, indoor grower AppHarvest has had another creditor demand repayment and threaten foreclosure, this time for its flagship Morehead, KY farm.

In a recent bankruptcy update, AeroFarms says it plans to continue operating, and sell assets to a group of current investors.

These funds are designated to reimburse Western Michigan employers for expenses associated with leadership and food safety training.

Paul Sellew was selected by an independent judging panel made up of previous award winners, leading CEOs, investors and other regional business leaders. The candidates were evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.

According to court filings and media reports, Equilibrium Capital filed a lawsuit in Madison County, KY, saying it has “significant concerns” regarding the Richmond farm, and that AppHarvest failed to complete the facility on time, and on budget.  

With the addition of the Temple, TX facility, Revol Greens now reaches over 70 percent of the United States market when  combined with its existing operations in Owatonna, MN, Athens, GA, and Tehachapi, CA.

For the first quarter 2023, net sales were $13.0 million versus net sales of $5.2 million in the first quarter of 2022 – a more than 250% increase and nearly 90% of the company’s net sales for full year 2022.

Nasdaq’s determination was based on the following: (i) Under Listing Rule 5101, the Company is a public shell and that the continued listing of its securities is no longer warranted; and (ii) the Company has not filed its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and NASDAQ.
