Green Life Farms announced that its products can now be purchased at more than 550 Publix locations in Florida.

The company will begin planting in early August, with harvesting coming near the end of September for the expanded facility.

Green Life Farms has completed the purchase of a 67-acre property in Wildwood, Florida where it will construct its 4th of 13 planned farms in the Southeast U.S.

The hydroponic tabletop strawberry concept was developed by New Wave Berry, LLC which is a joint venture formed by grower, marketer and distributor Oppy, agricultural investment firm Farmers Gate and family-owned agribusiness Red Dog Management, who is growing the crop in Santa Maria, California.

The court in its written opinion stated that “USDA’s ongoing certification of hydroponic systems that comply with all applicable regulations is firmly planted in OFPA.”

Pete’s Greenhouse Fresh will be available at West Coast area retailers beginning in January and can be found in the Produce Department.
