The Dallas clinic has been such a great success, that Hardie’s recently launched a mobile clinic for its Austin employees, and has plans for a third clinic in Houston later this year to serve all 700 of its employees.

DALLAS (July 6, 2022) – While most employers are struggling to find qualified labor, 80 year old family distributor Hardie’s Fresh Foods is keeping and attracting potential new employees and with a FREE on-site health clinic.

In partnership with Hamilton Health Box, Hardie’s offers free healthcare through its Dallas location walk-in clinic staffed with a nurse and doctor available via enhanced video chat.

The Dallas clinic has already treated more than 100 employees, conducted annual physicals, lab work, DOT physicals and identified more than 9 patients that are at high risk for complications due to uncontrolled chronic conditions, and now receive medical care.

“Our on-site health clinic is good for employees and the bottom-line,” said Jennifer Austin, Vice President of Benefits. “Many of our warehouse employees don’t have easy access to doctors, so being able to walk-in without an appointment or insurance is the best care we can give. As a result, we make fewer insurance claims and fewer sick days.”

Hardie’s warehouses operate 24/7, and so does its employee health clinic with a combination of on-site nurse, robust suite of telemedicine, analytics technologies and dedicated care team. No appointment or insurance needed.
