MIAMI – C3 (Creating Culinary Communities) one of the world’s fastest-growing food tech platforms and REEF, a global leader in virtual restaurants – today announced a partnership to open and operate 800 virtual restaurants across the U.S. to expand an existing relationship that has seen the successful rollout of C3 brands at REEF Kitchens across the country serving hundreds of neighborhoods.

REEF’s platform for kitchens connects some of the most loved food brands on the planet directly to neighborhoods, while helping reduce traffic congestion, pollution and delivery times.

With over 5,000 proximity hub locations globally and an ecosystem of kitchens staffed by a global culinary team, REEF’s platform helps give physical businesses the power to scale like digital ones. C3 has over 800 digital brand locations across the U.S. with an expansion pipeline of over 1,500. Popular C3 brands include Umani Burger, Krispy Rice, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, Kumi, Sa’Moto, EllaMia, Cicci di Carne, Plant Nation, El Pollo Verde and more.

It follows a number of announcements made by C3 as the company expands globally with an omni-channel approach to harness the ordering power of Gen-Z and millennials with added focus on virtual restaurant brands partnering with leading gamers, YouTubers and celebrities.

An early trendsetter of the digital restaurant industry, C3 has more than 40 culinary brands, serving more than 2.3 million meals during the last twelve months. The company is re-imagining the food service industry by tapping into the power of exceptional culinary talent, digital brand IP, and bringing its portfolio of more than 40 culinary brands through established shared kitchens and mobile delivery with the next-gen GO by Citizens app.

Commenting on the partnership, Sam Nazarian, Founder and CEO of C3 said, “We are thrilled to expand our incredibly successful partnership with REEF which has helped our ecosystem of brands to flourish. As we expand our operations REEF continues to be our choice for technology, supply chain and operations.”
