Fresh fruit and vegetable sales are still up 17% year-over-year, thanks to consumer demand on Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day typically is the largest restaurant sales holiday every year, and most restaurants are closed or limited.

Pamela wonders about the other elephant in the room that could affect fresh produce sales at retail — will consumers trust farmers markets during COVID-19?
