PRESS RELEASE: CINCINNATI, Ohio, May 11, 2020 – Total Quality Logistics BB #:203922, the second largest freight brokerage firm in the country and currently in its 12th annual Military Appreciation Month campaign, is saying thank you to U.S. military service members and their families, and TQL would like your help.

For weeks, the U.S. Military has found itself on the frontlines facing a new enemy: COVID-19. They have been charged with protecting the health and safety of fellow soldiers, civilians and families, and providing support to any FEMA-led national COVID-19 response.

The public, and companies needing to ship products, can help support our military men and women in the following ways:

  1. Thank a Soldier Care Packages: Through May 21, the public may honor those serving or who have served by visiting https://www.tql.com/military-month to build a digital care package for a soldier. Individuals may include a personalized note, and TQL will print the note, include some snacks, and then ship the care package to a solider served by the United Service Organization (USO).
  2. Send a Virtual Tribute Ribbon: Through May 31, download a virtual tribute ribbon at https://www.tql.com/military-month and post on social media using #TQLMilitaryMonth to pay tribute to the service members and veterans in your life.
  3. For Companies Shipping Products: TQL’s Military Appreciation Month also includes financial support of the military through its “Hauls for Heroes” program. For any load booked between May 11 and May 17, TQL will donate a portion of each load to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the USO. Since 2009, TQL has raised a quarter of a million dollars for these two organizations.

“Each May at TQL we make a month-long effort to honor and thank those who have made and are making such great sacrifices to ensure our freedom,” said TQL President Kerry Byrne. “This year we know that along with healthcare workers, truckers and many others, the military is also on the frontlines in our battle against COVID-19.”
