Salinas, CA – May 13, 2019 – Coastline Family Farms (BB #:141488) today announced that Marc Kirby has joined the company as the Vice President of Finance and Accounting, a newly created position.
“I am excited to have Marc join the Coastline Family Farms organization as we continue to expand our production base and explore new avenues to best serve our clients” said Robert Verloop the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. “We recently announced a new joint venture for dry onion production in Oregon, when combined with our California production, we will have full year round dry onion program on the west coast. Having someone with Marc’s experience will enable us to properly incorporate our various business units under a single consolidated structure”
Mr. Kirby previously worked at Berry Pack and Sambrailo Packaging in the role of business operations manager and CFO / Controller, respectively. His career has included finance, accounting, executive management positions and an accounting instructor at Cabrillo College. Marc is a Certified Public Accountant, with a Master’s Degree in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Accounting.

Mr Kirby will report to Robert Verloop and work in the Salinas office. This is a new position at Coastline Family Farms brought about due to the pending retirement on May 15th of Barbara Morgan, the companies Controller for the last eighteen years. “Barbara has been integral to the growth of Coastline Family Farms, we will miss her dedication and support of the growers, staff and the overall Coastline organization” added Larry Cox.
